The Malone Stax Pro universal car rack kayak carrier is our newest design, combining the value of a stacker and the convenience of fold down technology. The newly designed Stacker Blocks stablize and protect your boat while in use. This carrier can be used to transport up to 4 boats stacked side by side on virtually any vehicle or trailer cross rail system.The Malone Stax Pro folding kayak carrier has changed the industry mindset about stackers. They're no longer just for whitewater boats and inexpensive recreational boats; now any boat--even high-end composite boats--can be carried as a stacker.

The Stax Pro stacks up to 2 kayaks with the purchase of additional foam blocks.

The strongest and most stable folding stacker in the market, the Stax Pro includes foam stacker blocks that hold the kayak during loading and transport while also cushioning the boat during the drive. The carrier also comes with two bow and stern safety tie-downs for added stability and two 12-foot cam buckle straps to secure the kayak tight. You can even purchase additional foam blocks to transport a second boat, as a single carrier can be used to transport multiple kayaks stacked side by side (additional straps and bow/stern lines are also required).

The Stax Pro comes with universal-fit Jawz mounting hardware that works with round, square, and most factory oval crossbars. And when you're not using the Stax Pro, it folds down for better aerodynamics and lower clearance. Rust-resistant, the Stax Pro measures 5 by 20 by 5 inches (W x H x D) and carries kayaks up to 80 pounds.
